After you install AllMyMusic for Mac on your computer, you are allowed to pre-set the location, format and other conditions for the recording files as you wish. First of all, launch the program and then click the "Preferences" from the menu bar. It will pop up a dialogue like this.

In the General panel, you can set the output location as you like or just keep it as default.
In the Format panel, there are MP3 and M4A two kind formats for you to choose for recording.
